Hello my dear followers!
First off, I must apologise for the long, long radio silence. I've been very busy, a lot of things in my life have been going on! In chronological order, this has been happening:
- I've applied for a fixed position at my current company.
- I've started talking to a guy online that I met through a dating website and that happened to have many things in common with me - at first I was a little apprehensive because he's from England and I'm not, but I figured there'd be no harm in me talking to the guy.
- I had a job interview for that fixed position at my current company, and secured the job the next day.

Just thought I'd update with a fresh new journal about how things are standing in my life!
So I've been living in my new apartment since end of June (for those of you that missed an update: surprise married Shade is evolving into divorced Shade! wooooooo *sad balloon noises*) and things are 90% in order. Still need to install my desktop pc, get my lamps put up (I mean I have lamps, but they're just bare lightbulbs), and get curtains installed in my bedroom. And some general last unpacking. And then... the first cleaning! I know it sounds like I'm a huge slob (and it's not wrong) but I'm living pretty neatly and dirtiness isn't really an issu

Just came here to write that I'm progressing with my apartment and all :) My future living room and dining room have been primered, and this weekend the topcoat will go on. My furniture was ordered (Ikea :D) and it will be delivered in two weeks. My electricity/gas company has been selected, my insurance has been taken care of...
As of 04/07 I'm now permanently living in my new apartment! The moving company did its job excellently and I'm sooooo happy. Now all I need to do is get this divorce sorted. Starting with getting our mortgage transferred to my ex. Let's hope that happens today!

My dear watchers, recently I've had to make the tough decision to divorce my husband because his depression was weighing heavily on me and my own mental health was deteriorating. I'm moving into an apartment of my own this month, and I need to do a lot of work to make this work (buy most of my furniture, fund my insurance, pay rent, pay utility bills, pay some food, hopefully find some time to write as well). So, in order to not lose my drive to write - and in order to maybe be able to still buy something nice and worthwhile to spruce up my new place of residence - I would like to point out the above neat icons.
