*QUICK EDIT 26/07* I'm currently halfway through my vacation at Lago de Garda (or, as you all might know it, the Garda Lake in Italy) and the weather so far has been bad-bad-good-bad-GREAT-thunderstormalldayfuckthisshit.  I'm typing my newest TF2 story (currently all else is on hiatus, 'm sorry, I wanna get ahead in this story) and loving the vacation.  If I won't weigh 90kg by the time I'm back, though, I'll probably have a tapeworm or something because lord the food.  THE FOOD.  They have the best pastas in the world here, I swear to god.  Photos forthcoming, they're all on my cellphone.  Gabriel Dantan is making me sweat and those thunderstorms are making me worry.  Peace and love and happiness to all of you and see you in half a week. ***

...I don't do a lot of stuff anymore lately, especially writing-wise, and for that I feel sorry...  But it's with good reason!  I'm re-reading my first lengthy original story (titled 'Last stop' for the time being, I might remedy that title) for the first time, trying to work out the kinks and get it ready to be proofread before sending it to publishers far and wide!  (Mostly far - I didn't write in my maternal language, so I'll have to go at least overseas with the story for it to have any chance at getting published).  The process is: write, re-read, edit, re-read edit 1, edit again, have proof-read and critiqued, edit one last time, briefly re-read myself to see if it works for me (and edit if necessary), send to publishers.  It's a lot of work, but I want this to be perfect.   So if you don't see me often, or if you do see me and I seem preoccupied, that's probably why.

My head is a barrel of plot twists and turns-of-phrase right now.

Also, since I hope to complete this phase at least by the end of the summer vacation (and by that I mean MY summer vacation, so end of July), I'll already be amassing candidates for the position of proofreader.

If you wish to be a proofreader, you have to:
- be a native speaker of English (I do not accept non-native speakers, no matter how great your level of English is.  I'm sorry, but as a non-native speaker with a level that's near-native, I know first-hand that NOTHING beats native speakers' control of their mother tongue)
- be willing to read a 300+ book in max. 1 month's time, commenting included.
- be willing to sign a confidentiality agreement.  I am NOT risking ANYTHING with this story, so no matter how close or not close we are, if you're not willing to officially swear secrecy on every aspect of this story with genuine penalties imposed on breaching that secrecy, you're not getting the first word of this story.

That said, what's in it for you?
- a reward: 6 months' premium membership here on DA plus a twenty dollar gift, a mention in my book's dedication (for fellow writers, this means free publicity!) as well as on social media (I'm on tumblr, facebook, twitter, patreon, etc etc) and first pick when the next section of my story is up for proofreading.
- my neverending gratitude
- the chance to read my story before it's even published.  I mean, think about it.  My story could be nothing, but it might be big, and then you'd be able to say 'I proofread that!' :D

(Yeah, the last one sounds like a joke, doesn't it?  But hey, if you like my stories, there's a slim chance others'll like my original story...)

I would be willing to proofread. I would never mention your book to anyone, and I am a native English speaker from Canada. (:
